Stop 1!!!!

Here is my entry for Stop 1!

Aussie Slang - Going Off
Aussie Flag of animal - Australian flag bottle cap from the kit
And scallop border punch to represent big Australian Iconic structures

I used True Blue for the Aussie Slang.
I have some red scallop punch under Australia and at the top of the photo to represent the sand dunes.
As well as the map of Australia for the Australia part.

Here is my layout for the first stop - Australia

I have used the word "Aussie" as my slang and also ANZAC in the journalling.

I have used the Australian flag a couple of times as my image.

Last but not least I have used a boarder punch.

I have done a double.
The slang is the title "True Blue"
The Aussie image is the flag and the photos of Parliament House too really.
I have scallops on the left and right edges.

Oh whoops - attempted to use BB code to upload the LO from the Gallery but file size was huge. I'm such a klutz when it comes to anything technological.

There's the wombat in the bottom right corner.
Added the bottle cap from Ah Scrap (love Donna's bottle caps...)
The scalloping at the top depicts the sun over the mountains.

I used background paper with an Aussie flag on it. Aussie slang in my title "fair dinkum Aussie chick". And scalloped paper to edge my photo. :-)

Now although I'm not included in the prize draw. I really want to Scrap as much as I can for the race.

thanks to the lovely lady who helped me out! turned out computer hadn't caught up yet..
borders/scallops; i've used a paper that had postage mark style cut into it.

Recently my in-laws did a stint caretaking on Woody Island, off Esperance (south of WA). The children & I were lucky enough to get to spend a week over there with them... it was just the five of us, along with the birds, kangaroos, seals, dolphins and whales - a truly wonderful experience.

I missed the plane for this one too as I got sick unexpectedly but thought I'd share anyhow.
