I think they are dyed Sue, but i used white for mine, and sprayed it with spritz today (just in a light pink) and it took fine!! Smile

I used a 3.5 hook too!! Smile

YES i would have been hahah.... but no just jokes, i've been wanting to learn how to crochet for ages.... so will find one of those hooks and just need the link to the one you made so I can copy heheh....

Oh that's great to spray them. I have been making white ones, but the cotton isn't all that white against my white cardstock but oh well. I bought some red cotton though to make some but haven't started on that yet.
