Online stores...?

Okay.. just venting. What has happened to the state of online scrapping stores? Is there some sort of strike we don't know about? LOL. There used to be a time where we could basically pick and choose to shop at several stores online, but nowadays there doesn't seem to be a one-stop-shop when it comes to getting things for our hobby. There are some fantastic sites that I love to support, but I have found that these seem to be the common issues:

*stores shutting down
*out of stock items at all times
*no NEW stock
*no updates etc (i.e. no new kits, or even their blogs have been silent for 6 months or more)

I understand that postage costs is quite a lot lately with Aussie post or whatever, but I know I would rather do a big shop at once to make the most of a postage cost than buy one or two items and not be worth the expense of postage.

Am I just hormonal (and I am suffering from a staph infection in my breast at the moment and not feeling the best lol) or has anyone else noticed this?

I know where you are coming from, so not not just hormonal..

I know I am one of those people who only have a small amount of $$ to spend on my hobby, but at birthdays and chrissy when I get to spend a good amount I cant find a store that has everything I kinda want- ie- affordable kits, embellies, glues etc...
