I think SM hates me - i keep getting rejection emails.. whats wrong with me ?
I keep submitting and Dts like my stuff so why dont they ???
I got on two teams in a week.. whats going on??
Even my dt teams got their stuff published that I DESIGNED.. sigh...
Ok whinge finished.. off to have a pity party..
I'll keep submitting coz by dam it - IAM going to have a lo published in that magazine!@!!

I felt the same way for a really long time, it certainly batters your confidence, doesn't it!?!

Just keep submitting, I've heard a lot of people say that the mags picked up layouts that they, themselves weren't particualry fond of, and rejected the ones that they (the scrapper) really loved. Just goes to show, that you can never really tell what the mags are looking for.

I of course, am a veteran of having one layout accepted, and not even printed yet....so I really have no idea what I'm talking about LOL

Like I always say, you've gotta have a thick skin to submit to the mags...LOL For every acceptance, you will likely get HEAPS of rejections. Just keep plugging away Bek - like the girls here will tell you, I thought they hated me for a loooooooong time (even after they accepted my first LO in March last year, they didn't publish it until this month so I thought it was never going to see print.) In the last few months they have decided they do like me after all though - have now had 2 published, 2 more about to be published and they are sitting on a further 6 LO's.



You just gotta keep pestering them!!!

I've been on several DT's in the past and even guest DT'd for Prima a few years back... I teach at my LSS and complete as many of the monthly and cyber crop challenges here that I can, and that's enough for me!



I find that just sharing my creations with my lovely scrappy buddies online and having some nice feedback or comments on my blog every now and then keeps me smiling...

to hell with Publishing! I have been submitting and always getting those nasty little rejection emails, 3 years of that and i though i don't need this!

But i agree also with just keep submiting, just sumbit everything and and don't bother about trying to be the flavour of the month..
soon your'll be suprise to find one of those nasty emails will be a really nice one
