If anyone has any idea of when issue 85 will be released or sees it on the shelves at their local newsagent, can you let us know?

that has not been officially announced anywhere by the magazine to my knowledge, so at this stage will assume it was just a whisper doing the rounds.
I was looking at the blog of one the SC "Divas" who said she was looking forward to the Jan issue being released as it is the first issue the "Divas" will be appearing in???

it was late in Dec too (and for a few issues before that too), they don't seem to have a strict release date...

I knew you got that email Vick, but they havent announced it anywhere yet, plus with Kim leaving who knows what other changes are being made?

I have been thinking about this and I think even with a change to bi-monthly, they would still release in January, making the issues Jan/Feb, Mar/Apr, May/Jun, Jul/Aug, Sept/Oct, Nov/Dec. If they start it in Feb, it wouldn't really make sense as it would mean the last issue of the year would run into the following year...what do you think?

So, SC...where are you??? Shocked

I'm not happy with SC at the moment as I haven't had my LO back that was in Issue 83 in October and which they have had since April. I've emailed them a couple of times about it but have had no reply.

Really not good Judith - I hope I have no issues getting my LO back!!! **bites nails**

Yeah I wouldn't be suprised to see them go under either Charm... I can't work out how going bi-monthly is going to help sales - quite the opposite by my logic (which is questionable at times hehehe) I would have through they would have stronger sales than SM, but then I guess I'm being surpised by a lot of things at the moment!!! SM probably has more of a oh shoot this is probably going to sound dreadful, but more of an everyday feel about it where as SC had a more professional (for want of another word) feel... does that make sense?? So you probably would find more non serious scrappers (who would be greater in number than us total addicts) reaching for the less technically challenging SM mag... oh that probably sounds terrible, hope you get what I'm meaning.....

My newsagents told me that they have been advised that its bi monthly now. I think that this and the wishy washy dates each time have really annoyed a lot of readers and they are now buying other magazines.

Good news. My layout turned up today if a little battered. Still didn't get the magazine but I bought one when it came out so I'm not that bothered.

I asked my newsagent again on friday if he could contact his supplier and find out whats happening with SC. He rung me back and said even the suppliers are still not advised of an official change from monthly to bi monthly and are having problems regarding supply. They are expecting this months edition to be on the shelf friday but arent holding their breath. Not a good look!

Thanks for that Jullene! I actually asked my local newsagent yesterday and they too, knew nothing of it going bi-monthly. She checked the delivery schedule and said she couldn't tell me when it was expected, she said supply is terrible and it tends to turn up at different times every month. Rolling Eyes
Fingers crossed for Friday then, let us know if you see it! Wink

They finally confirmed what we've known for ages that they're definately bi monthly and there'll be a new editor next month.

I have to say im NOT impressed with the 24 pages of advertising in the back. Thats a lot in one spot.

A great subscription deal for $29.95 for 6 issues.
And a lot of excellent creative Layouts.

Thanks for letting us know Jullene, will have to see if I can find a copy somewhere now. Am thinking the sub might be a good idea, that way I won't have to remember to find it and buy it every 2 months.
