Marcy, I have no knowledge of digital scrapping at all, but am sure you will be able to get lots of tips from some of our members. As far as first LO's go though, I'd say you've done an excellent job!

I agree having never done any digital scrapping only viewed it, it looks great to me. As long as you are happy that is the main thing..congrats on your first page.

Marcy I've never done digi either.....have always preferred to do hands on paper stuff!!! No really I think that I just love the mess!!! Smile Your page looks great and if you are happy with it then so be it!! After all its for your album.....I must say that the photo is fantastic!! You have matched the elements on your page extremely well to the photo. Thanks for sharing it with us.....Look forward to seeing more of your work soon!!
